Do you use subcontractors?
Yes, we use subcontractors for a variety of trades including electrical, plumbing, insulation, sheetrock, floor finishing, tile, roofing, and painting. We are able to save our clients money through the efficiency gained by employing specialists. Our subcontractors are a result of 30 years of qualifying. They are reviewed on an annual basis and we require proper licensure and insurance at all times. All subcontractors are coordinated, communicated, and paid through McAdams Builders.

Can you give me a guaranteed start and finish date?
When our clients sign their contract we give a Projected Start Date. We commit to finish previous jobs before moving on and we will do the same for you. An anticipated Time of Production is in every contract. We do not guarantee a completion date due to the possibility of pre-existing conditions and the possibility that you might want to add something extra to your project. Each job has a project schedule that is reviewed with you weekly by our production department.

Do you have architects on staff?
No. Our Designers and Sales staff come from a variety of professional disciplines that contribute to their ability to imagine and create beautiful projects. Clients benefit from their collaborative efforts. A local structural engineer does calculations and reviews plans as required.

Can we help?
A client can do any work that they are legally allowed to do in their home which does not affect the critical path of our work schedule. For example- you may wish to do your own demolition prior to McAdams starting your project. You might want to do all the painting after McAdams Builders has completed the services for which we contracted. We would happy to discuss other types of client involvement on a case-by-case basis.
Most products are intrinsically linked to the building process. It is important that we control order accuracy, timelines, and shipping to insure a smoothly run on time project.

I hear you are expensive.
Purchasing a remodeling project can be difficult because it is impossible to compare apples to apples. Even if an estimate appears to have all the same components, how can a client be assured that the jobs will be executed with the same attention to details, the same level of craftsmanship, and the same finished product? McAdams Builders built our reputation by delivering good value on every project.

How big is your company?
McAdams Builders is a full service remodeling company staffed by friendly and competent designers, craftsmen, and support staff. We are not trying to be the biggest remodeling company in the area but we work hard every day to be the best.
